Los Angeles, Feb 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rapper Lil Wayne is headed to jail, but he is excited about it all the same. He told the Rolling Stone magazine that he isn’t worried about the jail ordeal at all. “This is Lil Wayne going to jail. Nobody I can talk to can tell me what that’s like,” he told the mag. “I just say I’m looking forward to it. I’ll have an iPod, and I’ll make sure they keep sending me beats,” he said.
He says that prison time is not going to affect his prolific writing in the least. On the contrary, he is looking forward to the quiet time, that he would get there. He is not perturbed about the fact that he wouldn’t be able to tour and record albums, like he normally does as a musician. “I look at things as ‘Everything is meant to be,’” Wayne said. “I know it’s an experience that I need to have if God’s putting me through it.
It may be recalled that Lil Wayne pleaded guilty to a felony charge in October 2009. And for the same crime, he got a yearlong sentence. His prison time is all set to begin on 9th February, Tuesday at the Rikers Island in New York.
