New Orleans, Dec 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Dwayne Carter, who is popularly known as Lil Wayne, has performed at his last show before he begins to serve term in prison from February, 2010 onwards. The talented singer, who has entertained thousands of his fans in his recent tours to promote the new release, “We Are Young Money” has reportedly performed his last gig, before imprisonment, on December 28, in his hometown, New Orleans. Therefore, fans who want to see him perform again would have to wait till his prison sentence gets over.

Though it is still unclear whether the New Orleans show is the last performance of the rapper before his jail sentence, his fans did not want to miss him perform on stage and as usual, a huge crowd had gathered for the show. The rapper was overwhelmed and expressed how much he values his fans. According to the reports, he said that he is nothing without them, which stirred the crowd and in turn, made them give him a standing ovation.

The prison sentence of the rapper that extends for one year, has disappointed many of his supporters as they will not be able to see any new music releases from him during this time. The rapper, who values his fan’s demands, is busy with his musical ventures so that his fans can enjoy his music while he serves the jail term for possessing fire arms. The singer has released his mixtape and a single with Eminem. It is expected that his upcoming album titled, ‘Rebirth’, that has new tracks from the rapper, would release before he goes behind the bars.
