Lil Wayne gets $1 million birthday gift from his boss
October 14th, 2009 - 10:13 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Oct 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rapper Lil Wayne celebrated his 27th birthday and his generous boss gave him a Choppard watch worth $1 million and a black diamond Chopard chain that is valued at $200,000.
The generous boss in question is Bryan “Birdman” Williams, who is the CEO of Cash Money Records. Last year also on the rapper’s 26th birthday Bryan had given Lil Wayne a briefcase that was filled up to the brim with $1 million in cash.
There were unconfirmed reports that his boss at Cash Money Records, Bryan “Birdman” Williams is also his father. However there was no kind of confirmation from either side.
Lil Wayne is his stage name. His original name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. He was born on September 27, 1982. He is an American Grammy Award-winning rapper. Earlier he was a member of the rap group the Hot Boys, he joined the Cash Money Records collective as a teenager. Get It How U Live!, released in 1997, was Lil Wayne’s first album with Hot Boys, and Tha Block is Hot, his solo debut, came out in 1999, which was a major hit.
He has been married and divorced and just became a father to his third child in September. He is also expecting his fourth child with the singer Nivea.
