A lightman working with the television serial ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ was detected dead by medical practitioners after falling off from a height of 30 feet, claim reports in the media. The lightman, whose identity has not been revealed to the media reportedly fell off from a height of over 30 feet while he was engaged in production work of ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’.

A source from the sets of the television serial which goes on air on the Colors television network has said in a statement to the media that the lightman was taken to hospital after falling off from the height. But little did the unit members know that his fall on sets would be fatal. Doctors in the hospital declared that he was dead as soon as the crew reached hospital with the lightman.

Actor Vinay Rohrra, part of the star cast of ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ was the first to open up to the media. He said in a statement to the media that the cast and crew members of ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ were extremely saddened at the sudden turn of events. Work had been stalled after the incident occurred since the ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ family was still trying to get over the shock of the accident on sets.

This is reportedly the second accident on similar lines which has occurred on the sets of an Indian television serial. Reports suggest that a crew member was hurt after falling off from a height on the sets of ‘Comedy Circus’. He is presently in serious condition in hospital.
