Lifetime’s “Who Is Clark Rockefeller?” Grabs Immense Attention

rockMar 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) If thriller movies with adequate doses of kidnapping and false identity is what you call real entertainment, then Lifetime network’s TV movie which premiered last night must have been a real treat for you. The TV movie “Who Is Clark Rockefeller?” which focuses on a German con man Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter, known as Clark Rockefeller. He had fooled many people into believing that he hailed from the famous American family, the Rockefellers.

In the much anticipated movie, the famed “Will and Grace” actor Eric McCormack edges the title role of Clark Rockefeller, who shot into the limelight in the summer of 2009 with his unbelievable tale of impersonation. Audiences were kept glued to the television screens as the real life story of the so-called Clark Rockefeller unfolded with impressive performances from Eric McCormack as well as Sherry Stringfield, who plays the role of Sandra Boss. Moreover, the thriller movie with its interesting turn of events ensured that the large number of viewers who had tuned in to watch, have a great time.

After coming to United States, the German conman assumed the alias of Clark Rockefellar and gradually earned a position among the elite class of Boston. He then went on to marry a millionaire lawyer Sandra Boss and also had a daughter. However, the marriage ended with a divorce with the custody battle of the estranged couple’s daughter won by Sandra Boss. This propelled Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter to abduct his own daughter, leading Sandra Boss to launch an extensive search for her daughter. This exposed the con man’s tale of impersonation which later led to his conviction and imprisonment.
