Life on Mars is a story of a man ‘Sam Tyler’ (Jason O’Mara), an NYPD detective who hunts a serial killer who has kidnapped his girlfriend ‘Maya (Lisa Bonet. He gets hit by a car while hunting in New York, 2008 and when he wakes up, he finds himself back to 1973 where twin towers are still standing.

Is he traveled back in time , coma or it is hallucination.

Tonight’s premiere of Life on Mars is one of the best new hours of TV this fall — as it should be, considering it’s a virtual scene-for-scene remake of a terrific British original. It’s a relief ABC didn’t bungle the transfer, but not exactly cause for critical celebration.
