September 7, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Sky Motion Pictures has announced the launch of the film “Life Express” by one of the budding and upcoming filmmakers, Anup Das. The movie is set to release nation-wide in Hindi on 17th September.

The music director of the film is RoopKumar Rathod and lyrics are written by Shakheel Azmi. The songs are sung by Udit Narayan, Shreya Ghoshal, Kalpana, and Roopkumar Rathod. Music audio cds is available on TIMES Music.

The movie “Life Express” is the story about an urbanized couple Tanvi (Rituparna Sengupta) and Nikhil (Kiran Janjani), whose life’s pace revolves around their respective careers so much so, that they have no time to spend with each other or start a family.

The film is also the story of Mohan (Yashpal Sharma) and Gauri (Divya Dutta) who live far away from the daily hustle and bustle of big city and are leading a poverty ridden life in a village and the challenges they face in their day-to-day life. The film deals with motherhood, love, aspirations and priorities individuals make in their lives, touching upon major societal issues, solutions and trading of human emotions for personal benefits.

In his debut film, Director Anup Das has very meticulously mirrored the harsh pace and reality of life and objectively and tried to show the choices individuals need to make in life. “Life Express” is the first feather in the cap for Producer Sanjay Kalate and his venture Sky Motion Pictures Pvt. Ltd.; this movie will demonstrate some of the finest performances by actress Rituparna Sengupta, Divya Dutta, Kiran Janjani, Yashpal Sharma, Alok Nath, Nandita Puri etc.
