Liam Gallagher nervous about upcoming Beatles movie
August 1st, 2010 - 2:06 pm ICT by ANILondon, Aug 1 (ANI): Liam Gallagher has admitted that his upcoming Beatles movie is more intimidating than creating his first album since leaving Oasis.
The rocker is working on a film adaptation of Richard DiLello’s book, The Longest Cocktail Party - about the last days of the Fab Four at their Apple Corps record label.
Gallagher is currently juggling his fashion line, Pretty Green, as well as the debut record of his new band, Beady Eye.
However, he’s terrified about taking on a movie producer role - because he wants the picture to be completely accurate.
“I’m more worried about getting that book right than getting this (fashion range) right, and my record right. I’m not going to be in the film or making the film, you know I’m going to be popping in from round the corner,” the Daily Express quoted him as telling Sky News.
“I’m more worried about getting that right because it’s (based on) other people’s lives,” he added. (ANI)
