Liam Gallagher loves it when Oasis gigs go wrong
June 16th, 2009 - 2:28 pm ICT by ANILondon, June 16 (ANI): Liam Gallagher gets a kick out of disastrous Oasis concerts, for the singer believes the mishap makes the event even more memorable.
The band had to go off stage for more than 30 minutes earlier this month when their sound system failed while performing a homecoming concert in Manchester, England.
More than 70,000 fans were offered a refund after the gig, but the 36-year-old songwriter is glad the disaster occurred because it kept him from being bored.
“I don’t think anyone should be waiting about for 40 minutes in the f**king cold for a band this size… If it happens in a f**king club then s**t happens. Where we are at it shouldn’t be happening..,” The Daily Express quoted him as saying.
“Anyway after that and the next two gigs they went off alright and were good, I enjoyed them.
“I actually preferred the f**king first one to be honest, I like it when s**t happens at Oasis gigs otherwise it’s the same gig really,” he added. (ANI)
