Lewis Hamilton engaged to girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger
July 18th, 2011 - 8:44 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLondon, July 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton and girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger are engaged, Nicole’s father has announced. Hamilton and Nicole have been going out for four years now.
Alfonso Valiente - the father of Nicole – in an interview with the British newspaper The Mail said the Formula One champion has proposed to his daughter. He even went ahead to refer to Hamilton as his “future son-in-law” during the interview. However there seems to be a problem because the publicist of Hamilton has denied the story.
The Telegraph reports that a spokesman for Hamilton is not aware of any such thing. It could be an embarrassingly situation because Valiente seem to have everything figured out concerning the future of his daughter and Hamilton.
During his interview with The Mail which was published last Sunday, Valiente said that, “My future son-in-law is a really nice guy, really down-to-earth… He is sincere and he and my daughter seem genuinely happy together. Lewis is a really good guy. When they came to visit, we hired them a Jeep because he had never driven one before.”
Nicole is a judge on the UK version of the music talent hunt show, X Factor. She got on the panel of judges when Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole decided to step down and chase a spot on the US version of the show.
