Michael Kutcher is Ashton Kutcher’s lesser known twin, born with cerebral palsy, a disease in which the motor control centers of the brain are damaged. He is Ashton’s fraternal twin and had a life-saving heart transplant when he was only 13 years old.

The twins grew up among the cornfields in Iowa and Ashton was always the protective brother. He says, “That was a big part of my life…kind of looking out for my twin.”

Michael said, “I was the kid with the big Coke-bottle glasses, the hearing aid. There was a lot of teasing, a lot of the normal mean stuff.” He sells retirement plans at Iowa.

Ashton was a biochemical engineering major who dropped out of the University of Iowa at 19 and says he had found the entertainment industry as easy as math in school. At the helm of his career he was named the world’s most eligible bachelor and then he married Demi Moore, 15 years older than him. He says he easily got over his issues with Demi Moore’s close relationship with her ex-husband Bruce Willis. He said, “You walk into a relationship and there’s always jealousies, like, ‘Oh, the other guy’… and, in this case, the other guy is Bruce Willis! But my wife’s a smart individual, one of the smartest people I know. If she likes and respects this person, then I think I can get over my jealousy.”

Michael too says that Ashton got over his jealousy without wasting too much time on it and that “All of them together, with Bruce, do an amazing job at raising that family.”
