Leonardo DiCaprio to play FBI chief in new film?
April 1st, 2010 - 5:28 pm ICT by ANILondon, Apr 1 (ANI): Leonardo DiCaprio is all set to play the director of America’s Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in a new film, according to reports.
Following in the footsteps of stars like Billy Crudup and Bob Hoskins, the ‘Titanic’ star is in talks to play the powerful role in a new biopic about J. Edgar Hoover, reports the Daily Express.
Earlier, Crudup played the FBI boss onscreen in last year’s ‘Public Enemies’, while Hoskins played the same role in Oliver Stone’s ‘Nixon’ in 1995.
And now, DiCaprio is considering tackling the role in ‘Hoover’.
The film will be directed by Clint Eastwood, according to reports by website Deadline New York. (ANI)
