Leonardo DiCaprio To Make Flick On President John F. Kennedy’s Assassination

Leonardo DiCaprioNov 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) There is some great piece of news for all those die-hard Leonardo DiCaprio fans out there. If recent reports are anything to go by then the three-time Academy award nominee is all set to star and produce a flick based on the assassination of former United States President John F. Kennedy. According to reports, the “The Aviator” star is collaborating with his father George to make the high-profile project which has been tiled ‘Legacy of Secrecy.’

Sources have revealed that the forthcoming flick would be silver screen adaptation of the book ‘Legacy of Secrecy: The Long Shadow of the JFK Assassination’ which is about the 1963 assassination of the former United States President. It has been reported that in the movie Leonardo DiCaprio would be edging the character of FBI informant Jack Van Laningham, who gets close to mafia boss Carlos Marcello who supposedly accepted his involvement in the 1993 murder of the ex U.S. President. Although other intrinsic details about the forthcoming film has not been revealed to the media as yet, sources have claimed that the flick is scheduled to hit theaters in the year 2013 to mark the 50th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy.

The book ‘Legacy of Secrecy: The Long Shadow of the JFK Assassination’ which has been authored by Lamar Waldron and Thom Hartmann takes into account declassified information in the FBI files available at the U.S. national Archives. The book gives revealing insights into the murder of President John F. Kennedy and alleges that mafia godfather Carlos Marcello has confessed to the assassination of the former U.S. President.
