Leonardo DiCaprio rakes in more than $50 million for Inception

Los Angeles, Aug 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Everyone is surprised that Leonardo DiCaprio raked in a whopping $50 million for starring in “Inception”.
By comparison that is quite a tidy sum because Julia Roberts earned just $10 million for starring in Eat Pray Love while Kristen Stewart earned a meager sum of $12.5 million for starring in each part of Breaking Dawn. Even Tom Cruise will be receiving far less for his role in the fourth part in Mission: Impossible.
All these make it look like a joke that DiCaprio earned the kind of money being talked about for featuring in Inception. Reports by Forbes indicate the movie has grossed $570 million so far and it’s anticipated that it will make $750 million in total.
DiCaprio has allegedly been paid $50 million already and his paycheck keeps increasing as a result of the kind of deal the movie’s producers signed with the actor.
The deal stipulated that the actor will receive a smaller amount initially, but once sales whipped up then he will be paid the full amount stipulated and after that, he earns a share of every dollar that the movie makes.
Inception is the actor’s biggest paycheck according to Forbes reports.
