Leonardo DiCaprio Dismisses Plans Of Playing Frank Sinatra

Leonardo DiCaprioFeb 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Leonardo DiCaprio has declared that he would not be stepping into the shoes of Frank Sinatra in the upcoming biopic directed by Martin Scorsese. The declaration comes in the wake of the rumors that have been floating for quite some time now. It was being speculated that Leonardo DiCaprio would be playing the role of the legendary singer in the film. However, Leonardo DiCaprio has dashed all hopes of all those who have been hoping to see him in the garb of Frank Sinatra. He has dismissed all the speculation as mere rumors, and has claimed that as of now, he has no intention of starring as Frank Sinatra.

The rumors have been floating in the air via the grapevine for quite some time now. In fact, for a while, it was being speculated that the 35-year-old actor would not only be assaying the role of the musical artist, but would also be singing in the film. However, the reports were allegedly brushed off by the director himself, who was quoted as commenting that Leonardo DiCaprio would not be singing, and that the original songs by Frank Sinatra would be used in the as yet untitled film.

However, Leonardo DiCaprio has not yet completely brushed off the possibility of acting in the film. He has added a very potent not yet in the pipeline footnote, which may turn out to be quite promising. On the other hand, the director, Martin Scorsese has commented that the script of the film has not yet been completed, and that nothing could be finalized till then, except for the bit about the soundtrack.
