Leonardo DiCaprio Los Angeles, Feb 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) There has been a lot of speculation since long, about who would play the part of Frank Sinatra in his biopic. And now according to reports, Leonardo DiCaprio is all set to play the legendary singer. Since Frank Sinatra’s death in 1998, this will be the first movie on him, by a famous director. And all the songs in the movie are also going to be sourced from original Frank Sinatra albums.

The biography of Frank Sinatra is titled “Ol’ Blue Eyes”, and it is going to be directed by Martin Scorsese. This is going to be the 5th time that both Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio have worked together on a project. Prior to this, they have worked together on ‘Gangs of New York’, ‘Aviator’, ‘The Departed’ and ‘Shutter Island’.

Frank Sinatra had quite a colorful life, so it remains to be seen how the director portrays his character on screen. He was a great singer, but at the same time, he was also a serial womanizer, and a drug user as well. It is going to be quite a tightrope for the director to give due justice to all facets of his life.
