London, Mar 13 (ANI): Renowned artist, inventor, scientist and visionary, Leonardo Da Vinci adds another feather to his cap, and that too five hundred years after his death- Hollywood action hero.

In what could be called as an unlikely movie projects, Warner Bros has announced plans to recast Leonardo as an Indiana Jones-style adventurer.

According to the Hollywood trade press, the film titled ‘Leonardo da Vinci and the Soldiers of Forever’ will see the Renaissance man fighting against “supernatural enemies” in an adventurous tale involving Biblican demons, secret codes, lost civilisations and hidden fortresses, reports The Telegraph.

Reminiscent of ‘The Da Vinci Code’, the film is being touted as a cross between Raiders of the Lost Ark and Clash of the Titans.

The film could see Leonardo deploying a fearsome arsenal of weaponry in the movie, based on his real-life inventions-like his 15th century designs for the helicopter, parachute, car and submarine.

Currently, the studio is searching for a scriptwriter to begin work on the project.

The producer is Adrian Askarieh, whose previous credits include ‘Hitman’. (ANI)
