Leonard Nimoy To Retire Soon

nimoyLos Angeles, Apr 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The famous “Star Trek” actor Leonard Nimoy is going to retire from the silver screen soon. The 79 year old actor has recently revealed to media sources that he wants to retire from the show business and live his life out of the camera glares. The famous Mr. Spock maintained that he no more likes to travel to different locations for shooting and live in hotel rooms. The actor maintained that he has had enough of it.

During a recent interview, Leonard Nimoy has also said that it would not be fair to the young actor Zachary Quinto if Leonard Nimoy continues to play the role of Mr. Spock for any longer. He added that Zachary Quinto who played the role of younger Spock in the 2009 “Star Trek” has been able to do justice to the role. Leonard Nimoy praised Zachary Quinto as a great actor who fits well in the role of Mr. Spock, adding that it is time to give opportunity to Zachary Quinto to continue with the role.

Reports claim that he is not only planning to retire from the cult series “Star Trek” but from other series as well. He will retire from his role in “Fringe”. Leonard Nimoy maintained that he has been in the industry for 60 years and had worked professionally all through his life. He asserted that he believes in leaving with a positive note, adding at the end that he had a great time in the industry. As for his after retirement plans, Leonard Nimoy has mentioned that he plans to indulge in photography after his retirement.
