London, October 30 (ANI): British singer Leona Lewis has revealed that she is glad to be alive after the attack by a crazed fan.
The former X-Factor winner was punched in the head at a book signing in London on October 14. The man accused of leaving her badly bruised was said to be suffering from paranoia and delusions of grandeur.
But the brave 24-year-old has pledged not to let the incident come in her way of success as she prepares for a homecoming concert in Hackney.
“It could have been worse. I’m still alive,” the Daily Star quoted her as saying.
“It’s something you have to deal with when you have fame. The positives far outweigh the negatives,” she added. (ANI)
