London, Oct 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) BBC are reportedly considering signing Lenny Kravitz for their show The Voice. The broadcaster is putting together the panel of judges for the show which is expected to rival the hugely successful talent hunting show X Factor UK.

Last month, it was widely reported that Girls Aloud singer and former judge of the X Factor show, Cheryl Cole, was being considered as a judge for the show. BBC however came out later to say the negotiation is off and that left the search for the judges ongoing.

The Mirror reports that BBC is seriously considering Kravitz because of the experience that he could bring on the show. A source told the newspaper that, “They want the show to be credible, not full of pop people who don’t sing live and don’t know the industry. And they don’t want to make mistakes with the casting. So they must have thought long and hard before approaching Lenny.”

The US version of the show has the final panel of judges put together. It includes Cee-Lo Green, Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine. The US version is expected to be one of the huge programs in the country.
