Lennon’s son worried about biopic on father
May 19th, 2009 - 6:00 pm ICT by ANIWashington, May 19 (ANI): Late musician John Lennon’s son Julian is worried that a forthcoming biopic will tarnish his memory of his late father.
Julian has revealed that he has apprehensions about the forthcoming biopic titled ‘Nowhere Boy’.
“It’s weird. I know what I know, I like what I know, and I don’t like some of what I know and I don’t particularly want to see someone else’s variation on that. But Sam seems extremely nice and the film looks as though it will be something interesting,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
The flick, featuring Aaron Johnson and Kristin Scott Thomas, tells the story of Lennon’s childhood in Liverpool, England.
The flick will be released on the 29th anniversary of Lennon’s death in December. (ANI)
