Lennon’s Ferrari to go under hammer
January 13th, 2011 - 1:30 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Jan 13 (IANS) Late singer John Lennon’s first Ferrari is set to go under the hammer at an auction in Paris next month.Lennon had bought the sports car shortly after passing his driving test in 1965 and it is expected to fetch between $155,000-$220,000 when sold by British auction firm Bonhams, reports contactmusic.com.`
The singer owned the car for only a few months before trading it in for a Rolls Royce.
