Legend Of The Seeker Season 3 In Jeopardy?

May 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) ABC has not announced any plans to produce another season of the successful show ‘Legend Of The Seekers’. The fans of the sci-fi show have gone into a searching spree for details of the next season. ABC, which is still trying to find a new replacement for the lost Tribune station, may not really focus on the production of another season of Legend Of The Seeker. Fans of the show are hopeful that the show will be renewed.
The latest episode ‘Tears’ Richard (Craig Horner) continues his quest to defeat the Seeker but he is seen separated from his companions. He reaches the Pillars Of Creation with the Stone of Tears in hand. He plans to close the many rifts that have been created between the underworld and earth when he is suddenly face to face with his greatest rival. On the other front, we find Kahlan (Bridget Regan) coming under the omnipotent Sister Ricci’s control. Sister Ricci later sends Mother Confessor on a mission of destruction.
The series is based on Terry Goodkind’s award winning novel The ‘Sword Of Truth’. The rumor of no third season has led to a fan community called ‘Save our Seeker’. Terry Goodkind himself has lent support to the community. The website has seen excellent surfer traffic with 49,000 unique visitors and total 66,000 hits. The action-adventure series Legend Of The Seekers has had a low rating in both seasons but maintained good viewership in spite of being aired only on Saturday and Sunday. The much anticipated third season’s story and events are already being speculated on the web by the fans.
