Washington, Dec 16 (ANI): Michelle Williams, the ex-fiancee of late Hollywood star Heath Ledger, has denied she was set to accept any awards on his behalf.

Ledgers role as a joker in The Dark Knight is expected to sweep off all the major awards this year.

The Batman flick was apparently the last movie he completed before his drug overdose death in January (08).

And one of the contenders to accept the awards on Ledgers behalf, along with his father Kim, was believed to be Williams, whos also the mother of the actors daughter Matilida.

However, the Brokeback Mountain actress says she won”t be involved.

“No discussions have been made for Michelle to accept nor are there any plans to take part, Contactmusic quoted her representative as saying.

Ledger is already nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe, and may become the first posthumous acting Oscar winner after Peter Finch in 1977. (ANI)
