London, July 8 (IANS) More than a year after his accidental death from prescription drug overdose, Australian actor Heath Ledger’s father Kim has blamed the star for it.
Racing car driver Kim believes Ledger, who died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs in January 2008 at the age of 28, was not carefully monitoring his medication, reports contactmusic.com.
“We’re all responsible for what goes into us and I blame Heath for not being responsible,” said Kim.
At the time of his death, it is believed the “Brokeback Mountain” actor was mixing medication prescribed to him by three different doctors.
He is survived by his three-year-old daughter Matilda Rose with his former girlfriend, actress Michelle Williams.
