Melbourne, January 27 (ANI): Heath Ledger has joined other late celebrities who have grossed many more millions from their graves than they did during their lifetime.
The Australian actor, who died at the age of 28 from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs in last January, reportedly earned an estimated 30.1 million dollars for his property in the previous year.
He was unfortunately added to the wealthy Forbes list of the highest-earning dead celebrities, reports News.com.au.
And according to the Daily Telegraph, Ledger may bag at least another 5 million dollars this year if he wins the Oscar in the Best Supporting Actor category for his much acclaimed role in the batman blockbuster The Dark Knight.
Similarly, Hollywood legend Paul Newman, who passed away in September after longed cancer battle, also earned around 5 million dollars last year.
