Led Zeppelin no longer the real Led Zeppelin: Robert Plant

London,Aug 17 (ANI): English rocker Robert Plant has asked rock band Led Zeppelin’s fans to stop expecting a reunion tour because the band no longer exists.
Plant reteamed with bandmates John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page for a 2007 tribute to music mogul Ahmet Ertegun.
Even though he said it was a lot of fun, there was a feeling that the group was not what it was, reports The Daily Express.
“We could do it reunion tour. We did it once. That was really the best Led Zeppelin gig since 1975, to me. But of course, it wasn’t Led Zeppelin. Let’s not forget that,” He told Mojo magazine.
“That’s why we didn’t carry on in 1980. This whole kind of adaptation of intent is part of the way it goes now at this time in older musicians’ lives. Pink Floyd are Pink Floyd? No, they’re not really,” he added.
“The reunion was amazing and remarkable, but to do that three or four nights a week,” he further said. (ANI)
