Roman Polanski LOS ANGELES (BNO NEWS) — High-profile attorney Gloria Allred on Friday said a new alleged victim of controversial filmmaker Roman Polanski will come forward during a news conference.

Allred, who also represents alleged Tiger Woods mistress Rachel Uchitel, said she would give a news conference in Los Angeles at 10.30 a.m. local time on Friday. She said a new alleged victim of “Roman Polanski’s sexually predatory conduct” would come forward.

“Ms. Allred will explain why her client has come forward now, and the legal significance of her allegations,” a media advisory from Allred’s office said. “Her client will read a brief statement, but will not be answering any questions or doing interviews.”

Polanski, who is 76 years old, is currently under house arrest in Switzerland and is waiting to be extradited to the United States after being arrested in September. He managed to escape sentencing in 1978 after pleading guilty to raping a 13-year-old girl.
