Lawrence considered quitting acting
June 12th, 2011 - 5:17 am ICT by IANS London, June 12 (IANS) American actress Jennifer Lawrence says she considered turning her back on acting when she first rose to fame. The 20-year-old shot into fame with her role in last year’s “Winter’s Bone”, which won her an Academy Award nomination, and she has since gone on to land roles in “X-Men: First Class” and “The Hunger Games” opposite
Liam Hemsworth.
“People started talking to me differently and I couldn’t stand that. I’d go to parties where I used to be invisible and off the record… now everybody’s watching and listening,” dailystar.co.uk quoted her as saying.
“There was a weird element and I wondered whether I wanted to be a director or just do indie films,” she added.
