New York City, May 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) NBC’s much loved show ‘Law & Order’ came to an end. It had a celebrated run of 20 seasons, and it is sure going to be missed by its numerous fans that had gotten addicted to it, over the years. Unlike the much-hyped finale of ‘Lost’, Law & Order just made a simple and a quiet exit, without much fanfare. After being telecast for over 2 decades, it quietly whimpered out with the last episode, which was titled ‘Rubber Room’.

It was no secret that Law & Order was going to end soon, and fans were anxious to see how the last episode would fare for S. Epatha Merkerson. And they were certainly not disappointed, because the show’s writers gave her a very nice final good-bye. In the last episode Lt. Van Buren was seen to focus on her medical treatment for cancer. And in the finale scene, she is over joyed because she gets some very good news from her doctor regarding her ailment, and so she is seen celebrating.

Meanwhile NBC is negotiating a deal with TNT, so that the cable can take over the much-acclaimed series. Currently TNT is telecasting re-runs of the show.
