“Law & Order: Los Angeles” Makes Its Debut on NBC

Sep 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The much-anticipated season premiere of the new spin-off series “Law & Order: Los Angeles” took place last night on NBC. As expected, the new series received wide viewership as all the ardent followers of the original series tuned in to watch the show with high expectations. The new series that made its debut on the NBC network last night has been developed by Blake Masters while it has been created and produced by Dick Wolf.
Following the premiere of the much-awaited spin-off series, reactions from the critics as well as the viewers have been pouring in from various quarters. While some feel that the pilot episode of the series did not turn out to be as promising as the original program, others have contended that it looks much different from the original “Law & Order” series. However, for the die-hard fans of the program, the new spin-off was considered to be as good as the original series with its usual dose of intrigue, violence, suspense as well as drama. The way the debut episode of the series unfolded with its interesting twists and turns, one thing is for sure that the viewers would be eagerly waiting for the upcoming episodes of the series.
The series “Law & Order: Los Angeles” indeed has to deal with the rather difficult task of living up to amazing plots of the original series while attempting to create its very own unique identity. Whether the new spin-off is successful in doing so the upcoming episodes remains to be seen. The interest of the viewers in the new series is however encouraging enough.
