Lauryn Hill welcomes her sixth child
July 25th, 2011 - 11:52 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattNew York, July 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Singer Lauryn Hill gave birth to her sixth child over the weekend. The former Fugee member reportedly gave birth to a bouncing baby boy on Saturday. The pregnancy of the 36-year-old was reported in March.
The Popular Critic reports that when the baby arrived it had the umbilical cord around its neck. However reports say the mother and the baby are doing well. The baby has been born with cloud of doubt surrounding who the father is.
All the other five children of Hill were fathered by Rohan Marley but he recently came out to question the paternity of the new baby. In a subsequent interview, Roham denied being explicit about that claim adding that his words were quoted out of context and he followed up his words by going out with Hill and all the children.
He tweeted that, “Ms. Hill is the mother of my children, whom I have a tremendous amount of love and respect for. I would never do that. The nature of our relationship something we don’t expect people who spread gossip for a living to fully understand.”
The name of the baby is yet to be made public.
