After getting to watch Nicole Richie in the previous episode, the viewers of the series saw eminent model and actress Lauren Hutton. She is remembered for her sterling performance in ‘American Gigolo’, a Richard Gere flick. Lauren Hutton is associated with the IMG Models of New York City. That explains why she was seen on Project Runway.

Jane Cha, the Executive Producer of the show expressed her pleasure in being able to rope in Lauren Hutton in the capacity of a guest judge. She has a great sense of style and fashion. She is likely to find wide acceptance among the models of the show. They will benefit from her advice. The latest episode of the series was shot in New York and the designers were given a new challenge. Though Lauren Hutton is not among the typical Hollywood actresses she has wowed the viewers whenever she has appeared in the silver screen. Her film debut was made in 1968 when she acted in Paper Lion. Her performance in the 1974 flick The Gambler also fetched her rave reviews.

‘American Gigolo’ also brought her much fame and exposure where she played the role of a wealthy adulteress with perfection. However, her acting career took a backseat in the 1980s and 1990s and she concentrated on her career in modeling. Her stint in Project Runway would be a visual treat for the models and viewers.
