Feb 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Seems to be a bad news for “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” star Lauren Conrad, as MTV has decided to pull her upcoming reality show. The show was supposed to focus on her forthcoming fashion line. MTV’s David Janollari told a reputed media outlet that the channel decided not to go ahead with the project. The executive vice president told a reputed media outlet that the reality show was a good attempt but the network officials felt that it was not a “perfect fit” to be called as a reality show.
On the other hand, Lauren Conrad told a reputed media outlet that she sold the show to MTV officials and they were proud of the result. However, the gorgeous reality television starlet said that the network officials must have felt that the subject matter of the reality series was too “high brow” for the American audience and hence they offered her to change the show. Lauren Conrad said that she has incorporated some incidents of her personal life in the series so that the audience likes it but avoided to make it a complete personal show.
However, later Lauren Conrad said that the show mainly focuses on her career and her goals on life and does not delve deeper into her personal relationships and may because of that MTV officials have scrapped the series. She said that MTV officials pulled out the show because they must have felt that the audiences of America were not “savvy” enough to appreciate it. David Janollari later said that they would want to see Lauren Conrad again. The reality star has not yet said if she would sell the show to other networks.
