Apr 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Heidi Montag and her husband, Spencer Pratt (jointly known as “Speidi”) recently lost 2 million dollars on Heidi’s newly released album, which old less that a thousand copies in it’s first week. Life and Style is now reporting that Montag has plans to sue Adam Divello, creator of “The Hills” for sexual harassment. DeVillo is the one who started Heidi’s reality television career.
But there may be a kink or two in the plans to get back some of the money which they lost in the album disaster. Reality television stars are coming out of the word-work to stand in defense of DeVillo, saying that he has never done anything of the sort. Lauren Conrad is among the ranks, issuing a statement which said, “Similar to most of my fellow MTV cast mates, I am in utter shock at the allegations made against Adam DiVello,” the show’s former star, Lauren Conrad, said in a statement. “Not only are they completely absurd, but they are 100 percent without merit.”
Montag is claiming that Adam DeVillo sexually harassed her during a photo shoot for the cast which was done in March. “Adam came up to her from behind and grabbed her with one hand on her stomach and one hand directly on her butt cheek,” an insider claimed. “Heidi had six bodyguards with her. They took his hand off her and moved him away from the situation.” It was claimed that the situation had escalated since Heidi underwent cosmetic surgery. “Heidi started bringing security to the set because she felt Adam was getting a little creepy,” the source said. “He was very touchy-feely and she insisted he wouldn’t stop asking her to strip down to a bikini for scenes. Adam wasn’t on set much for six seasons until Heidi got her new boobs. And now he shows up everywhere.”
MTV launched their own investigation of the accusations and then released a statement to Lifer and Style, “We have looked into this matter and the allegations made against Adam DiVello are completely false and without merit. Adam not only created ‘The Hills’ and ‘The City,’ launching the careers of several cast members, but has worked diligently to maintain a respectful and appropriate production environment.”
Lauren Conrad also said that DeVille was a true professional and a wonderful person to work for. She sent out a Tweet on the popular social networking site, Twitter, which read, “I’ll repeat it: no one is/has ever been assaulted during filming of our show. hey spiedi, do you know the definition of slander? NOT OKAY.”
