Jan 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) For 15-year-old Lauren Alaina, it was just the platform that she needed to showcase her singing talent and bring it in front of the entire world. The high school student was one of the contestants of the latest episode of “American Idol” season ten which was aired on Fox last night. Taking the judges completely by surprise, Lauren Alaina turned out to be one of the contestants to look out for in the latest installment of the Fox singing competition with her singing prowess that enthralled the judges and the viewers alike.

As the fourth episode of the current season of “American Idol” commenced on Thursday night, the panel of three judges comprising of Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez made their way to Nashville, in the state of Tennessee to evaluate the singing talents of the city and pick out the best of the lot. 15-year-old Lauren Alaina stood out from the rest of the participants in the audition with her impressive rendition of the track “Like We Never Loved At All” by Faith Hill, winning extensive accolades from the judges and ensuring her position at the next round of the singing competition.

Before leaving the judges completely speechless with her power-packed rendition of Faith Hill’s “Like We Never Loved At All”, the teenager said that she was dedicating her performance to her cousin Holly, who had survived a bout with cancer recently. With the judges being unanimous about their decision to take Lauren Alaina to the next round, later Steven Tyler reiterated the fact that the 15-year-old might turn into one of the front-runners to win the show by saying that they had indeed found ‘the one’.
