Los Angeles, Oct 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Runner-up of American Idol 2010, Lauren Alaina, has come out with an album titled “Wildflower.” This is the first album of the singer and she revealed in a recent interview that she has been dreaming of the day since she was a child.

The album was released in the United States on Tuesday. The 16-year-old told reporters that, “I’ve been dreaming of this since I was, like, 3 years old. I can’t believe that it happened by the time I was 16. It’s mind-blowing.”

The album was recorded in a three-month period. It has 12 tracks and Lauren says the title reflects who she really is. The project has already received encouraging reviews in the industry with many anticipating that it will move up on top of the charts.

Grammy Award-winning producer Byron Gallimore was involved in the project and Lauren says that made a huge difference. She revealed that she enjoyed her moments at the studio because Gallimore never shouted down her neck during the recording.

She said that, “He wasn’t judgmental at all. He really helped me work through things. I learned so much from him about the whole process.”

The teenage sensation said she will start the promotion of her album in New York later in the week. She is scheduled to appear on “Good Morning, America” and “Live With Regis and Kelly.”
