Mar 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The new season of the hit NBC reality series “The Celebrity Apprentice” premiered on the network last night amidst widespread speculations. Anticipation was running high about the ninth chapter of the United States version of the popular reality show “The Apprentice” and the show surely had all the necessary elements to ensure that the premiere episode turns out to be a huge delight to watch.

As many as fourteen celebrities were seen participating in the reality show with one of the contestants being eliminated in the premiere episode itself. Just after Donald Trump introduced the contestants of the third season of “The Celebrity Apprentice”, the contestants were divided into two teams comprising of men and women. Interestingly, the two teams were asked to choose the project manager for the opposite team which witnessed the men’s team selecting Cyndi Lauper for the girls and in turn, the women’s team choose Bret Michaels for their rival team. The viewers were surely kept glued to the television screens as the two groups were given the task of running a New York diner for about three hours. As the episode progressed, the contestants of both the teams were seen trying their level best to raise the maximum amount of money by the end of the task.

However, it was the boys team Rocksolid which emerged as the ultimate winner as it was successful in gathering about $20,000 more dollars from the rival team. Moreover, the premiere episode also saw the elimination of much acclaimed writer and comedian Carol Leifer, as she was part of the losing team, with her team mates reiterating that she could have controlled the team in a better way.
