Latest Episode Of “Weeds” Sees Silas’ Dilemma

weedsAug 24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The American comedy-drama television series “Weeds” was aired on Showtime last night and owing to its interesting plot and storyline the episode gave the audience ample entertainment to feed on till the next week. The show revolves around Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker), a widowed mother who has turned to selling marijuana to support her family after her husband unexpectedly dies. Last night’s episode was subtitled as “Felling and Swamping”.

While speaking about “Weeds”, Mary Louise Parker said in one of her interviews that she can personally relate to the character she plays in the series and considers herself very much like Nancy Botwin except the drug dealing factor. The actress received appreciation from viewers for her performance in the series and she is hopeful that this season also she will be able to woo the heart of the audience. Last night’s episode saw Nancy and her family changing her surname and becoming Newman from Botwin to hide identities. Nancy decides to go to Canada instead of Pittsburgh. She gives Silas the choice to stay or go. However, Silas stays back but later feels that he should have left when he had a chance, back in his heart he knows that he cannot leave his family.

Back in the town FBI inquires about Pilar’s murder and talks to Esteban about it. Esteban asks his subordinates to find Nancy and her family as soon as possible. On the other hand audience is surprised to see Shane, as he shows no sign of regret for murdering Pilar. Andy arranges for the fake IDs for them. “Felling and Swamping” was written by Victoria Morrow and directed by Scott Ellis.
