Late Feroz Khan To Have A Road In Juhu After His Name!

September 27, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Late veteran Bollywood star Feroz Khan is likely to have a road by his name if all goes well. On last Saturday, the family of the actor celebrated his 74th birth anniversary. On this occasion, his brother Akbar Khan and the rest of the family thought of paying a tribute this legendary actor.
Akbar, who is also an actor and director, is trying to facilitate this to pay a special tribute to his late brother. He is in talks with ministers and has requested them to name a street after Feroz. He was quoted saying that the family is in a mixed mood now as they are celebrating the birth anniversary of the late actor together.
Khan added that he wanted to pay this homage to his elder brother and that’s why he met Deputy Chief Minister Chagan Bhujbal recently. Akbar has conveyed this wish of him as well as of the entire family to the minister.
Akbar said that he opted for Juhu because Feroz stayed there till the last two days of his demise and the idea was liked Mr. Bhujbal. He added that Feroz came to Mumbai when he was only 18 and lived here throughout his life. He has also conducted meeting with aviation minister Praful Patel and Rajeev Shukla, who have also shown their support in this. Akbar further informed that the ministers have agreed to do something for the late actor for his contribution to the film industry.
Remembering the days spent with his brother, Akbar said that he still feels that his brother is alive and will waive hands from his balcony, which is diagonally parallel to his home. The doting brother said that Feroz will always remain there with the family.
