Late Brittany Murphy’s husband Simon Monjack found dead, cardiac arrest suspected
May 25th, 2010 - 9:06 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, May 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The late actress Brittany Murphy’s husband Simon Monjack was found dead in his Los Angeles abode. Cardiac arrest is being suspected as the cause of death. The real reason behind the death would be clear when the autopsy would be performed on Tuesday. The Los Angeles Police Sgt. Alex Ortiz said that no foul play is being suspected in the case, and an investigation is on in the case.
Brittany Murphy’s mother’s spokesman said that Simon Monjack was suffering from some heart trouble, and was also scheduled to undergo heart bypass in the summers. Perhaps if the heart bypass surgery had taken place, then Simon Monjack could have had been saved. The spokesman Roger Neal said that Simon had delayed the surgery, so that he could devote his time and effort to a fundraising gala for the Brittany Murphy Foundation.
Simon Monjack’s wife Brittany Murphy had died five months earlier, and now so soon, Simon has also followed her to the grave. Brittany’s mother used to stay with Simon and she said that he was like a son to her. She is said to be devastated by the loss. Simon Monjack and Brittany Murphy had gotten married in May 2007.
