Lata proud of brother Hridaynath

New Delhi, Sep 28 (IANS) Lata Mangeshkar says she is proud of her younger brother Hridaynath Mangeshkar in whose name a lifetime achievement award has been instituted to mark his 75th year in the industry.
“Namaskar… On my birthday, an award has been instituted on my brother’s name Hridaynath and it is called ‘Hridaynath Award’. This award will be given to all those people who have done commendable job in their respective field. I am congratulating him and giving all my blessings to Hridaynath that an award is named after him. I am very happy for him,” Lata posted on Twitter.
The 82-year-old Lata will receive this award Wednesday from Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan in the presence of special guest and filmmaker Yash Chopra at Matunga’s Shanmukhananda Hall, in Mumbai.
