Lata Mangeshkar’s New Year Calendar Dedicated To Music Directors!

The nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar has some exciting New Year plans and that will definitely bring smile to many music directors of the industry. The melody queen has compiled a 2011 calendar, which will have pictures of her with various music directors with whom she has worked.
The pictures of the yet to be launched calendar will be from Lataji’s personal album. This is quite a different and unique idea by this veteran singer to say goodbye to 2010 and welcome 2011. It will definitely impress the music directors and bring smile to their faces.
The music directors in the calendar will starts from the era of Shankar-Jai Kishan to Oscar winning composer A.R Rahman. It will have all the favorite moments of the singer, who have entertained us in these decades through her melodious tunes.
The calendar will be like a pictorial tribute to the music directors with whom she has been associated in last 58 years. They have contributed a lot in the growth of her career as a successful and legendary singer of the millennium.
A source close to the singer, says that Lataji has handpicked all the pictures herself to put them in the calendar, which will take everyone through her musical journey. The calendar is being launched today and Lataji is very excited about it.
The calendar will be unveiled at her residence ‘Prabhukunj’ at Mumbai’s Peddar Road. The launch event will be attended by her sisters and brothers.
