Larry King returning to TV for sitcom gig
January 13th, 2011 - 12:21 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Jan 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A new sitcom that is expected to start airing from the early part of March will have a surprise star – Larry King. This is according to the TV Guide Magazine report.
It seems that King will not be out of TV for that long after he left his show on CNN. The report suggests that the sitcom, “Better With You” will start shooting from the 17th day of January.
In the sitcom which will also feature Josh Cooke, King will be a guest in a hotel that Cooke who plays Ben in the sitcom manages. The show is exclusive to ABC.
King recently had his last episode of the show “Larry King Live” on CNN after 25 years. During the period, King interviewed several top personalities. However during his final episode, the lineup of celebrities and personalities that lined up to say goodbye to the veteran were massive. He had the last show with his family and after the show, pictures of him and the family leaving the studio were made available to the whole world.
On his last episode, he had tribute from Barack Obama, George Bush, Bill Clinton and other top officials and celebrities.
