Lara Bingle ‘wants her slice of Michael Clarke’s fortune’
June 8th, 2010 - 3:17 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, June 8 (ANI): Lara Bingle wants a slice of her ex-fiancee Aussie cricketer Michael Clarke’s fortune, it has emerged.
The 22-year-old Australian model, who split from cricketer Clarke following her involvement in a nude photograph scandal earlier this year, has allegedly been encouraged by her mother Sharon to seek a seven-figure payout from her ex-fiancé.
“[Sharon] feels [Michael and Lara] were never right for each other, doesn’t think he looked after Lara, being away as much as he was, and wants him to pay dearly,” News.com.au quoted a source as saying.
It is believed that the settlement could include the value of the Aston Martin sports car that Clarke gave Bingle, together with her 200,000-dollar engagement ring.
Sharon is reportedly pushing for her daughter to also receive property, cash and furniture too.
Clarke owns four properties including a 6-million-dollar Bondi apartment and a 3-million-dollar Lilli Pilli house. (ANI)
