Melbourne, Dec 20 (ANI): Lara Bingle stopped traffic and surfers when she stripped off for her swimwear photo shoot in Sydney last week.

The shoot saw Bingle in a ’70s-style ‘Bond girl’ red bikini, cavorting in the Tamarama waves as the face of the Speedo Beach Spring/Summer 2010 campaign.

Bingle described the day as ‘amazing’. She spent 10 hours of the day parading 12 different swimming costumes.

“We had an amazing day. The water was cool, but it was so inviting. I was able to jump in between shots,” the Daily Telegraph quoted Bingle as saying.

While her fiance, cricketer Michael Clarke, battled the West Indies in the third Test in Perth, Bingle dismissed rumours of a split.

She said she would spend Christmas with her partner, who will play in the Australian team against Pakistan in the Boxing Day Test.

“This summer I’m looking forward to spending time at the beach with friends and family. I’m going to the Boxing Day Test to watch Michael play, too,” she said.

While this is just one look at the day’s work, Bingle shot an amazing array of images that sent fashion bloggers around the world into a frenzy.

“When we started there were only a few people on the beach, but by lunchtime it got busier. Everyone was out enjoying the beautiful day. People were good and gave us our space to keep working,” she said. (ANI)
