LAPD denies investigating Sam Lutfi for drugging BritneyFebruary 21st, 2008 - 5:27 pm ICT by admin
New York , Feb 21 (ANI): The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has slammed reports that they are investigating Britney Spears pal Sam Lutfi for allegedly drugging the pop star.
LAPD Media Relations representative Richard French has denied any such reports in a call to the New York Post.
“There is no investigation into Sam allegedly medicating Britney, The New York Post quoted him, as saying.
Further calls to the LAPD Media Relations department were answered by Officer Lee, who also dubbed these reports as plain rumours.
“Who would you believe? The LAPD or Internet reports?” he said.
Meanwhile, Michael Sands, Sam Lutfis spokesman, has said that the internet sites have been maligning Lutfis image in the public-eye.
Internet tabloid gossip Web sites need to stop reporting bogus stories without knowing the truth. They need to stop brainwashing the public, he said. (ANI)
