October 13, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): The temperamental and much publicized Lady Gaga seemed to have embarked on her career with acting. One of the popular television shows named, ‘Sopranos’ featured the controversial singer as an extra when she was all of 15 years of age. She had been known by her real name, Stefani Germanotta, then.

The show was a dramatic series that aired on HBO for a total of sixteen seasons. The show concluded its last season successfully in 2007. Lady Gaga was seen in the show playing the part of a student, she was also depicted as a fellow student and friend of A.J. The episode featuring her was titled ‘The Telltale Moozadell’.

The ‘Sopranos’ video resurfaced early this week and got everybody busy checking out the “Telephone’ singer who has achieved major stardom now.

However, this is certainly not the only time that the star has been seen on TV. She had also been featured on MTV’s ‘Boiling Point’ when she had been nineteen. She had refused to accept a salad from a diner which was nasty in her opinion. She had also made a fleeting appearance in the popular show ‘The Hills’.

The number of appearances seems surprising and prompts the general public into thinking whether acting had been the first choice of this 24 year old star. The only other alternative could be that she did whatever it took in order to get noticed. However, all that seems to be in the past now. Lady Gaga is doing quite well as a singer and has succeeded in keeping the public eye focused on her too.
