Los Angeles, Mar 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Sensational pop singer Lady Gaga has ventured into unfamiliar territory after releasing a country version of her latest single “Born This Way”.

Gaga’s new album is due out in May but the single is enjoying massive success. It is currently on the top of US charts and it has stayed on the top for six consecutive weeks. That feat is the first for the singer.

The country version of the song closely sounds like Jon Bon Jovi’s 1990 song Blaze Of Glory. That is not an exception because the original “Born This Way” is also linked to Madonna’s tunes.

Critics have criticized the country version of the song saying there is no originality in the song. They argue that the singer is unnecessarily trying to show off her versatility. That is not what her fans think though. To Gaga’s fans it goes to prove how talented their idol is. This might be just what her fans need at this time.

Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” song is not without controversy. The song’s lyrics have been censored in Malaysia for being gay. The country’s radio stations could be fined as much as $15,000 if they play the original version of the song.
