Los Angeles, April 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights have criticized Lady Gaga for her single ‘Judas.’ The song is on the yet-to-be-released album ‘Born This Way.’

A promo video of the song is currently being worked on. In the video Gaga would be Mary Magdalene while Norman Reedus play Judas. With the Christian festivities of the Good Friday and Easter Sunday around the corner, the President of the Catholic League think the song is offensive enough.

Ironically, Bill Donohue has not heard the song or watched the video but he says Lady Gaga just want to be controversial just for the sake of her career. Donohue said he does not see anything special as far as Gaga is concerned explaining that the singer has over the years used only controversy rather than her career to stay famous.

The video’s director, Laurieann Gibson, did not agree with the views of Donohue. Gibson explained that she is also a Christian and Donohue has no cause to worry at least now that he has not seen the video.

The promotional video is set to be released on the 19th of April.
